One of the final projects from my AutoCAD class at CalArts. I designed the wood planks, flattened the pieces for a CNC machine, assembled the pieces, then installed lighting. I used two LED lamps, the lower is a blue LED bulb lamp and the upper is an RGB LED A19 with remote control that allows the user to change color and do some mixing in the middle. 

The first photos are from my AutoCAD files and the others are photos of the lamp after assembling and wiring.
